Providing Member services, advocacy & professional Development
We are the state association for occupational therapy -
a non-profit (501c6) affiliate of the American Occupational Therapy Association. Our volunteer board & team of committee members work to promote occupational therapy in Oklahoma EVERY DAY THROUGH THE YEAR, since 1967.
We want to promote occupational therapy WITH you! Membership includes:
Connection: actively networking together for mentorship, for career-building, & to support each other and our profession.
Conferences: providing quality education and networking for health professionals; OKOTA offers a significant discount to members. Attending annual conferences and sponsored classes offers you specialty skill-building in a hands-on environment.
Public Policy / Advocacy: You can contribute to OKOTA's strong advocacy - through member dues & volunteer hours - your voices are being heard. We help members easily keep track of public health issues under consideration by the State Legislature & local agencies, to advocate for priority public health issues.
Free Informational Services: The association communicates current issues through the OKOTA website and to members through email updates monthly. Stay informed of colleague's accomplishments, new job opportunities, and important policy changes that could affect all license holders in our state. Join OKOTA - Stay informed!
