New Year - New Rules - New Opportunities

Saturday, January 16, 2021 8:37 PM | President Admin (Administrator)
WELCOME 2021 -  OKOTA has heard from members requesting advocacy efforts on behalf of school providers with overloaded caseloads;  OTA's facing -15% reimbursement rate cuts by OHCA; business owners staring at red tape and uncertain policy changes with managed care looming alongside Medicaid Expansion; CMS nationally reducing reimbursement for Medicare service providers; and students in need of all levels of fieldwork placements across the state due to COVID changes and closures.
  • In September 2020, the state medical licensure board updated the rules for occupational therapy license renewal and Telehealth practice. Read the new regulations for pre-audits of CEU's, telehealth CEUs required, and other details HERE
WE NEED ALL HANDS ON DECK - make sure to keep your membership active with OKOTA this year as we promote best practice, offer affordable professional development, and coordinate resource-sharing for all practice areas.  RENEW or JOIN OKOTA HERE
